Get the Results You Want from Your Workouts
We all have times when we fall into a workout rut. We go to the gym, but we aren’t getting the same results we used to see.
One problem may be that you’re doing a workout that doesn’t challenge your entire body. Kickboxing workouts require students to use every major muscle group – and that means it delivers a great workout every time.
In addition to providing an intense workout, Kickboxing builds muscles and tones your entire body. It’s the workout you’ve been looking for.
Kickboxing Burn Calories and Fat
If you want to get in the best shape of your life, climbing into a treadmill a few times a week just isn't going to get the job done.
The secret to losing weight is finding a way to burn more calories each day than you take in. For most people, that means getting regular exercise to burn some of what they eat.
A single Kickboxing workout can burn as much as a thousand calories. That means that your body will easily burn more calories than you take in, leading to a net loss of weight.
People who practice Kickboxing reinforce their body's strength and flexibility, and increase muscle mass. Since muscle burns more calories than fat does, regular Kickboxing workouts can boost your metabolism, making it easy to lose weight.
Kickboxing gives you the confidence to defend yourself
Self-defense is as much about training as it is about strength and size. The biggest, beefiest guy in the world can still lose a fight if he's not trained.
Kickboxing uses a large set of self defense techniques, combined to give you the tools you need to defend yourself in any situation.
Whether that be a stranger on the street, the local thugs, or a trespasser in your home, you will be equipped with the skills to effectively keep you and your loved ones out of harm's way.
Kickboxing Banishes Stress and Anxiety
Stress is a part of modern life. It can have a negative impact on your physical, emotional, and mental health if you don’t find ways to minimize it.
Working out regularly releases feel-good hormones called endorphins. Kickboxing workouts will help you maintain the proper hormonal balance so you can cope with stress as it arises.
At the same time, Kickboxing can also make you feel better about yourself and your body, which contributes to good mental health and makes it less likely that stress will affect you.
I would recommend this Dojo in Glendale in a heart beat! I believe martial arts is what continues to keep our family strong, healthy and humble. This is a great school and trust me when I say that Ucelo is a legitimate dojo and they're passionate about teaching their students. My daughter is very blessed to be part of such a great team and school! Also they have a great Kickboxing program for myself and I walk out each time feeling confident, accomplished and super sweaty!
Great place, really liked the family environment, they really want to help kids feel better about themselves and more confident, also the adults, love their kickboxing class it really motivates you to be fit and get better every time. I really recommend this place.
